COPPER PLANT – SPAIN (2014 – 2016)

Is a Copper mine based in the south Spain that was re-furbished and installed with a new control system and new Motor control centres’. Our software engineers were sub-contracted by Moore in 2014 to provide Siemens PCS7 ver8.0 SP2 engineering services from the design phase up to the commissioning phase which was implemented in three (3) phases. The system comprised of the various stations and consisted of 3500 remote I/Os, 800 devices (VSDs and simocodes), various vendor system interfaces and interfaces to external controllers on profibus. Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the project was successfully completed in 2016 over a period of two (2) years.

 

GOLD PLANT – BURKINA FASO (2016)

Is an open-pit heap leach gold mine in Burkina Faso. Enviroblue secured the sub-contract from Moore in early 2016 to continue with the commissioning of PCS7 V8.0 SP2 control system using existing standards. The system comprised of the various stations and consisted of 700 remote I/Os, 160 devices (VSDs and simocodes) and various vendor system interfaces on profibus. We successfully assisted our client and the EPCM contractor to produce first Gold in April this year.

COPPER PLANT – DRC (2013 - 2014)

Is a Copper mine located in the copper rich Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our software engineers were sub-contracted by Moore in 2013 to provide Siemens PCS7 ver8.0 engineering services from design up to the commissioning phase which was implemented over a period of two (2) years. The system comprised of the various stations and consisted of 1600 remote I/Os, 580 devices (VSDs and simocodes) and various vendor system interfaces on profibus. This project was successfully completed in 2014.

 

COPPER PLANT – DRC (2012 - 2013)

Is an open-pit copper cobalt mine in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. After completion of phase 2 and 3, our software engineers secured the sub-contract from Moore in 2011 to continue with Phase 4 expansion control system and to provide Siemens PCS7 v7.4 engineering services using existing standards from Phase 2/3 implementation. The system comprised of the various stations and consisted of 1800 remote I/Os, 700 devices (VSDs and simocodes) and various vendor system interfaces on profibus. This project was successfully completed in 2013 over a period of two (2) years.

COPPER PLANT – DRC (2009 - 2011)

Is an open-pit copper cobalt mine in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. After completion of phase 1, our software engineers were sub-contracted by Moore in 2009 to take-over the control system software development portion of the project using the existing Siemens PCS7 ver7.1 APL standards. Phase 2/3 was implemented with the newer Siemens PCS7 ver7.2 software comprising of the various stations and consisted of 2000 remote I/Os, 600 devices (VSDs and simocodes) and various vendor system interfaces on profibus. This project was successfully completed in 2011 over a period of three (3) years.
